The Gabus Automotive Group consists of the following dealerships:  Charles Gabus Ford, Des Moines Motors, Buy Here Pay Here, Toyota/Scion of Des Moines, and Des Moines Imports.

The group prides itself in their community involvement.  We participated in many of the surrounding cities celebrations. 

In honor of Mr. Gabus, the second Charles Gabus Memorial Bike Ride was held. On June 20th the group, along with the Northwest Des Moines Rotary Club and many generous sponsors held the second bike ride.  The proceeds went to: Reach out and Read, providing books to children from birth to age 5 through their doctors, Bike Trail contributions for Urbandale for signage and improvement of the trails, The Des Moines Bicycle Collective who accepts donated bikes, rehabs them, and sells them at affordable prices to families, the homeless, and the near homeless.  The Urbandale Police Department for a bicycle licensing program, Karen Acres to purchase books for student's parents who need to learn English, Corner Books-Five clinics will receive rocking chairs, a corner book rack, two small chairs with a table and books.

 The Bike Ride was a great success and we are looking forward to next year.
